Meet Pastor Kimberly Pinkney…
At the tender age of 8, Kimberly Pinkney accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the altar of the Missionary Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado. She knew almost instantly that God had called her to ministry, that He had a plan for her life, and that she must follow it. She fulfills that call today through ministry, worship, prayer, teaching, writing, and mentoring. As a very young adult, Kimberly experienced God’s divine power, when He healed her of epilepsy, juvenile arthritis, hypoglycemia, and ulcers. That deliverance has lasted to this very day, more than 35 years, and has resulted in her passion for people to be set free from any bondage of spirit, soul, and body.
Kimberly co-founded Spirit of Victory Church (SOVC) where she serves with her husband, Pastor Robert Pinkney. Kimberly co-authored the book, Out of the Closet and Into God’s Love, a testimonial that chronicles the Pinkneys’ personal and life-changing encounter with the delivering power of God. Since 2000, through Victorious Living Ministries, Kimberly and Robert have ministered to homosexuals, and their family members, with the Word of God, prayer, and Godly counsel. The Pinkneys also have a marriage ministry aimed at teaching husbands and wives how to have Godly marriages.
Kimberly faithfully serves on other church and ministry board of directors. In addition to Out of the Closet and Into God’s Love, she has co-authored three books, Removing the Veil, Volumes I and II, and Gracefully Broken and others.
Kimberly holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Georgia Military College, and has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management. She holds a certificate in Public Speaking from International Training in Communication, where she also developed the interpersonal skills of listening and leadership. She has also been certified by StartChurch University as an Executive in Church Compliance.
