Recently, I was asked about the purpose of His Voice Ministry, and am led to discuss it here for others who may have the same question. Just prior to the onset of this ministry, God gave me the following word, found in Ezekiel 33: And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, speak to the sons of your people…but if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, he is taken away because of his corruption and sin; but I will require his blood from the watchman’s hand. Through this scripture, God commissioned me to wake up the Church regarding the devil’s tactics during these last days. And He warned me that He would hold me accountable for not completing this assignment.
I believe wholeheartedly that the Body of Christ, more than ever, needs a wake-up call in these last days. The Body of Christ is being duped by the media, government, and people whose agenda contrasts with the Bible in various areas, including the political realm. These entities have the potential to darken our understanding and blind us to the truth (see II Corinthians 4:4). Therefore, I am answering my mandate from God to shine the light of truth for all to see, and sound the alarm loud and clear, for all to hear!
Jesus said, The sheep that are My own hear and listen to My voice; and I know them and they follow Me (John 10:27). It is so vital for believers in these last days to hear His voice. I believe Jesus wants to reveal to us things that are coming in the near future. He wants us to set ourselves in position to hear from Him. He is speaking to the Body in these turbulent times, as He does not want us to be overtaken or surprised. He wants to reveal things, not to frighten us (see II Timothy 1:7) but rather to make us ready for those things.
Consider the Apostle Paul’s message from II Timothy 3: This know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We should not be surprised with what we are seeing. We can expect the world to act according to this passage of scripture. They will promote their agenda, despite what the Church says or thinks. The HR-5 bill, which is still awaiting vote in the Senate and against which we should pray, is a sobering and startling example of this. I believe the passage of this bill will give the LBGTQ community and activists leverage to spread their propaganda and implement their agenda across America. Through its proposed reversal of the religious protection afforded by Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, the bill could ultimately force churches and church-run schools to conform to its intentions or face harsh legal penalties.
Indeed, we have already begun to see the erosion of Christian liberties. A Philadelphia case, as cited by the Christian Post, illustrates this point.
A federal appeals court has ruled in favor of the city of Philadelphia after it was sued for requiring that faith-based foster and adoption care agencies place children with same-sex parents. The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 3-0 on Monday against Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and three individuals who served as foster parents with CSS. The agency was one of two faith-based agencies that worked with the city to place foster children who had policies prohibiting the placement of children with same-sex couples. But last year, the city government moved to force faith-based adoption and foster agencies with limitations on same-sex placement to change their policies to comply with the city’s nondiscrimination laws protecting on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity or halt their adoption and foster programs.
As you read the rest of this article at the link above, you will see how one Christian agency changed its policy to comply in order to continue working with the city. This is not the right response for Christians. Our compliance with the Word of God is non-negotiable! Christian agencies and businesses, such as flower shops, bakeries, and schools, are coming under scrutiny and are being badgered into complying with mandates that violate their religious conscience and, most importantly, the Word of God. This is why the alarm must be sounded loud and clear. The vision must be written clearly so that others may run with it (see Habakkuk 2:2). This is why this ministry and blog page exist!
As Believers, we need to rise up, wake up and spread the word to others. We need to pray get and meditate on the Word of God so that we do not falter in our stand for God. Again, I ask you to spread the word and support us as we take this message across this world. Let us have ears to hear what His Spirit is saying to the Church.
